About the experience "The search for something authentic ... Sardinian ceramics"

In Santa Teresa Gallura, a characteristic town in Sardinia, a tradition of millennia tirelessly continues, dating back to truly ancient times, when man began to employ his imagination in creating tools of various utility along with objects that were simply decorative. We are talking about the art of Sardinian ceramics, an art which has remote origins and whose creations are recognised worldwide.

Even today, this ancient art is a founding element of the Sardinian artistic tradition, thanks to the shops of the local artisans, who continue to make it thrive with passion and dedication.

I am Arianna, and in my workshop, I create terracotta objects with care and dedication. I'm here to immerse you in the tradition of Sardinian ceramic workmanship.

Particularly striking is the moment when your hands begin to manipulate the clay to form minute details that evoke the local traditions.

You will create an artifact entirely by hand, using ancient ceramic techniques.

You can then glaze or color the bisque-fired object .
