About the experience "The earth that takes shape in our hands... a tradition handed down from generation to generation"

In Positano, a characteristic town of the Amalfi coast, an ancient tradition of thousands of years persists, dating from the time man began to use his imagination to create objects of beauty and varying utility. We are speaking of the art of ceramics.

The colors of the Amalfi Coast ceramics are bright and strong, in shades of green, orange, yellow and cobalt blue, and mirror the intense and diverse landscapes of the coast.

Brushstrokes of color, ancient processing techniques, passion, taste and decorative refinement: these are the treasures of these famous ceramics.

We artisans invite you into our workshop, creating and decorating terracotta objects with care and dedication, immersing you in the tradition of pottery on the Amalfi Coast.<

You will model the clay in the ancient "colombino" technique by decorating the object you created with the "ingobbio" technique.

« Every object thus becomes unique. None are equal or, indeed, similar. Each is a form that has evolved individually and unexpectedly It's the beautiful part of the game: the variability of the clay».

The laboratory is found in one of the most famous locations in Positano. It is easily accessible by a small road overlooking the sea, a magical place in which to be inspired.
