In Guardiagrele, a characteristic town within the Maiella National Park, you can take a step back in time by dedicating yourself to a relaxing and emotional activity that will make you feel the lightness of time passes: the decoration of majolica.

The colors and decorations of Abruzzo ceramics, combined with your creativity, will make you relive the emotions and traditions of the Abruzzo ceramists.

Inside my shop, in a peaceful corner with an ancient flavor, you will immerse yourself in a unique world where your imagination will free space to express itself and escape.

You will have the opportunity to decorate a terracotta object with the traditional "majolica" technique and I assure you, seeing what you wanted and only you will have born in your hands will be fantastic

Program and information

-visit of the shop;

-brief introduction, to get a first idea about the technique that will be used and how the decoration on majolica takes place;

-beginning of the decoration of an object with the "majolica" technique;

- snack in the middle of the workshop with "Sisa della Monaca" (a typical Guardiese sweet unique in the world);

- resumption and completion of the laboratory.

- It should be noted that the manufactured products require cooking times ranging from two to five working days, therefore they can be collected personally and free of charge. Subsequently, they can be shipped with costs to be agreed on site.
