About the experience "Capodimonte Porcellane"

An Artisan Experience that will allow you to live the experience of being a Neapolitan master of Capodimonte Porcelain for a day.
To this day, this historic ceramic art is still a fundamental element of Neapolitan artistic tradition, thanks to artisans, who, with passion and dedication, continue to make the art form thrive

The art of the Porcelain of Capodimonte responds to the desire of every type of tourist: from those who wish to gain knowledge of the ancient tradition of ceramics, to the lover of classic design, who desires to carry a small "Piece of Napoli" in their suitcase…All pieces are handworked from the clay of the earth.

You will create something, with care and with patience, following fundamental rules that give meaning to the actions performed with exactitude and measure, as though drawing from inheritance our humanity. That which is there, silent, and waiting only to be re-evoked and animated, creating a feeling of satisfaction and connection. The experience begins in a typical Neapolitan storefront, where you will be greeted by  a traditional craftsman, who will hand down to you the secrets of modeling terracotta. You will create unique pieces entirely by hand with ancient techniques, following traditional "Capodimonte" processes, such as that of working with Foggiatura, and give life to creations that mix modern elements with the traditional, remade in your own personal "key".

Penso sia stata un’esperienza fantastica che mi ha dato veramente modo di imparare qualcosa di nuovo e soprattutto concreto. Quando ho iniziato non credevo che sarei stata in grado di fare quello che invece ho realizzato.Marta da Verona.
